This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions that apply to your access and use of the Internet website owned and operated by HandCode.org ("HandCode", "we", "our" or "us"). By using our site and services, you ("Client", "User") agree to these terms.
HandCode.org provides bespoke web design, development, improving website performance, and SEO services. All services are hand-coded without the use of page builders (such as Elementor, Divi) or heavy CMS frameworks unless explicitly requested and agreed upon in writing.
Our commitment is to deliver high-performance, semantic code aimed at achieving high scores on Google PageSpeed Insights and Core Web Vitals.
Services are billed on a monthly subscription basis. By purchasing a subscription, adding a payment method, and proceeding with checkout, you authorize us to charge your payment method immediately for the first month and on a recurring monthly basis thereafter until cancellation.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Failure to pay usually results in a grace period of 7 days. If payment is not received, we reserve the right to suspend services, including hosting and maintenance, which may result in your website becoming inaccessible.
Upon full payment of all fees, the Client is granted full ownership of the final website design, HTML/CSS/JS code, and content. HandCode retains the right to use the finished project for portfolio and marketing purposes.
We retain ownership of any reusable code libraries, utilities, or design systems developed internally by HandCode that may be used in your project, granting you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use them for your website.
You agree to provide all necessary content (text, images, branding assets) in a timely manner. Delays in providing content may result in project delays. You certify that you own or have the right to use all content provided to us.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HandCode.org shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
Our services may integrate with third-party tools (e.g., Stripe, Google Analytics, Mailchimp). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third parties. You are subject to their respective terms and policies.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service and cancel your subscription.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
